Baptisms

Baptism is the foundation of the entire Christian life, the door of life in the spirit and the door that opens access to the other sacraments of God. By baptism we are freed from sin and regenerated as children of God, and we become members of Christ and are incorporated into the church and made partakers of its mission.

The word Baptism derives from the Greek "immersion" in the purification of water. Water cleansed the body and with it the spirit of all impurities, washing away the sin.
